Christmas Events and Charity Drive a Success!

St. Clair County Republican Party is celebrating a successful Christmas Season after taking part in the Port Huron Santa Parade, hosting a wonderful Christmas Party and donating gifts to the Salvation Army to make Christmas a little brighter for 12 local children.

Thank you to Patty Palmer for her work to set up our entry in the Christmas Parade and to Carol Seaver and Kimberly Shmina for organizing the Christmas Party.  The party would not have been a success without generous donations from Congresswoman Candice Miller, Attorney General Bill Schuette, Senator Phil Pavlov, Representatives Paul Muxlow, Andrea LaFontaine, and Dan Lauwers as well as the 10th Congressional District GOP!

The biggest thank you is due to those who sponsored an area child in need this Christmas through the Salvation Army Adopt-an-Angel program.  The decision was made to sponsor 12 children and all 12 were taken within a few minutes at our November meeting.  We look forward to working with the Salvation Army again in 2014 and hope to sponsor more children the second time around!
